Moina Denean Tucker was born on August 17, 1971 in Folkston
Georgia. She is the daughter of Gloria Lambert and James
Hannan. Moina is the only girl and third child born of her four
siblings.
Moina Graduated from Waycross High School in Waycross Georgia in 1991. She was pregnant her senior year and had several of her teachers to tell her that she should wait until after she had her baby to come back and finish school because they did not want the other female students to feel like it was cool to be pregnant in high school. She did not let that stop or discourage her despite the painful words and the way the adults treated her she made it through and beat the odds not only graduating on time but with a 3.4 point gradeaverage.
Throughout her life, Moina would face and overcome many adversities and challenges of being a young single mother. Her mother showed and instilled in her to be strong and never allow her mistakes in life to stop her from excelling. Moina had a determination that she would not become a product of society. She would defy the odds that were stacked against her, and with the help of God become the narrator of her own story.
Shortly after graduating from high school Moina met her husband James M. Tucker II in 1992 while he was serving in the United States Army in Ft. Stewart Georgia. They made a covenant and vow to each other on February 22, 1993. Moina and James have three biological children Toddrick Doles (25) Cambria Tucker (22) and Aroneisha Tucker (19), and an adopted daughter Tashawna House (32).
Moina joined the United States Army January 9, 2000 serving at several duties stations both stateside and overseas which included Ft. Lewis Washington, Ft. Stewart Georgia, Sinai Egypt and the Iraq Freedom war in Baghdad. Moina served and fulfilled her term being honorably discharged from the army in December 2007. She was awarded 15 medals of service, honor and certifications from the United States Armed Forces.
Before leaving the Army Moina received her license to minister by her spiritual mother, Apostle Artie C. Smith, on October 5 th 2006. In 2007 the Tucker family relocated to Kalamazoo, Michigan and accepted the call of Pastors on their lives. Moina and her husband James (Jamie) Tucker II, were ordained and installed in 2009 by Bishop Alvernis Johnson (Kingdom Life Ministries), as the founders and Pastors of Higher Heights Ministries International 114 W. Allen St. Kalamazoo, MI 49004.
Moina is the CEO/Founder of The Kingdom Magazine, LLC, a faith based magazine that has inspired and touched the lives of thousands of people from all walks of life.
Moina has a passion to see young people’s lives changed inspiring and encouraging them to never give up on their goals and dreams in life. Her ultimate goal is to motivate the young people which she feels will in return stimulate and help cultivate the greatness that is locked up on the inside of each and every young person she come across. She likes to think of the at risk youth as diamonds in the rough knowing that there is always more to them than what you see and that it takes patience and a willing heart to make an impact on the lives of those who some call a lost cause.
Moina is in the process of opening a media arts and technology center called S.O.Y (Saving Our Youth) as well as obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
